1. This is a portrait of my wonderful friend Tabby. This is a good example of portraiture because she is in a posed position in a studio with lighting and backdrops. I think this is a strong image overall because it's a great pose with a lot of emotion. It's developed good however, I think the lighting should have been different to lighten up her face some.




2. This is one of my documentary pictures. My son was taking his pants off and he couldn't get them off his foot so he was trying to get me to pick him up while I was taking this picture. This is a good example of documentary because it's life as it's happening. This is my life 24/7. I think this is a great print, good quality, except for the black dots, I don't know what those are. Anyway, I think it really shows action and a part of my life that's very important to me.



3. Here is another example of documentary. You may think this is posed but trust me, my brother ALWAYS acts like this. Yes, sadly, this is my brother. This is how he is all the time and it's a great snapshot at the right time. I think this is a really good print with good lighting and I like this picture a lot.



4. This is another portrait of Tabby. It's posed, and it's not the most unique pose ever but it represents her well so that's all that matters to me. Lighting is pretty good I think and it's a good print. This is a strong picture because I can totally see Tabby in this all the way.




5. This is actually one of my documentary pictures but I believe it could be still life in a way. The phone was being pulled by my son but the shoes are there just chillin, being still so it's still life to me. I didn't have many still life pictures to choose from so I don't think this is a really good example honestly but what can I do? At least it's a good print.



6. This is another still life picture I picked out. Once again, not a very good example but everything in the picture is still and not moving so it can count right? I think this a really cool picture, a little bright, I could have printed it better but I personally like it a lot. I also think this a strong image overall because this is the science wing and this is how it ALWAYS looks. This is probably the only time I've been in the science wing this year, was to take this picture. It's always lonely and quiet. So this represents the science wing well.



7. This is another documentary picture. My family. We have four new babies in my family within the last year and still waiting on the fifth. My aunt is changing her babies diaper while my gram is just watching t.v. or something. This is a great example of documentary, just life how it is for me and my family. It shows that motherhood is in my life A LOT whether it's me being the mom or someone else in my family. I like it though.
